Nurse-Family Partnership program
  
The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) helps first-time parents succeed by fostering healthier pregnancies and improving the health and development of children. Families develop confidence and skills for parenting and economic self-sufficiency by volunteering to work with a nurse home visitor from this proven program. Specialized nurses visit families regularly during a 2½ year period, beginning in pregnancy.
 
Who is eligible to enroll in the NFP program?
Any woman residing in Montgomery County who is:
 • Pregnant with her first child
 • Meets income requirements
 • Less than 28 weeks pregnant
